Overview

Insan began his legal career at a reputable law firm shortly after completing his legal education, where he quickly developed a strong foundation in both litigation and advisory work. With more than three decades of experience, he established Maulana and Partners Law Firm (“MAP Law Firm”)  in 2011 with the vision of creating a firm grounded in excellence, integrity, and professionalism. He is widely recognised for his exceptional ability to craft precise, persuasive, and tailored legal arguments when representing his clients’ interests in both complex disputes and strategic transactions.

 

As a seasoned litigator, corporate lawyer, and registered patent attorney since 1986, Insan has built a distinguished reputation in the legal field, particularly in intellectual property law and enforcement. His depth of expertise and consistent track record of success have earned him numerous accolades, including being recognised as a Leading Individual in Intellectual Property Practice in Indonesia by the Asia Pacific Legal 500 (2006/2007 editions). In addition, he has been consistently named among Indonesia’s Top 100 Lawyers by Asia Business Law Journal since 2018, reflecting his standing as one of the country’s most respected and influential legal practitioners.
